These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website castingandcatching.com and the guided fishing charter services provided by Casting & Catching Guide Service, operated by Clendon Taylor ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, contacting us, or booking a trip, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide guided recreational fishing charter trips on lakes and rivers in Texas. Trip details, pricing, and availability are described on our website and are subject to change. All fishing gear is included unless otherwise noted. Clients are required to bring a valid Texas fishing license, drinks, and snacks.
2. Booking & Deposits
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a trip date. This deposit is applied toward your total trip cost. The remaining balance is due at the end of the trip. Payments made by PayPal or credit card are subject to a 3.5% processing fee. We accept Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and major credit cards.
3. Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable. If weather or unsafe conditions require us to cancel a trip, we will work with you to reschedule for the next available date.
4. Responsibility for Gear & Boat
Clients are responsible for any damage to gear or the boat caused by negligence or misuse, including but not limited to rods, reels, bait buckets, graphs, windshields, seats, and fiberglass.
5. Assumption of Risk
Fishing and boating involve inherent risks. By booking a trip, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Casting & Catching Guide Service is not liable for personal injury, loss, or property damage except in cases of gross negligence. You are responsible for following all safety instructions given by your guide.
6. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in through our website chat widget, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Casting & Catching Guide Service. Message types may include trip availability, booking and appointment reminders, customer service communications, and promotional offers.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at castingandcatching@gmail.com. Transactional and promotional messages require separate consent, and we do not share your phone number or consent with third parties for their own marketing.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision.
